ARA-290 — 10 mg
Research peptide derived from a non-erythropoietic fragment of erythropoietin (EPO), studied for its tissue-protective and inflammation-modulating properties, without stimulating red blood cell production.
Available in France as a high-purity lyophilized powder, sealed 10 mg bottle, for research on neuropathy, immune modulation and cellular stress response.
Product intended exclusively for laboratory research. Not intended for human or animal consumption.
Mechanism of action of ARA-290
ARA-290 acts by binding to the innate repair receptor (IRR) complex, which includes the EPO receptor and the β-common subunit (CD131) . This interaction triggers cellular cascades involved in tissue protection , inflammation reduction , and cell survival , without causing an erythropoietic effect.
Unlike full-length erythropoietin, ARA-290 specifically targets the innate repair receptor (IRR): it activates repair pathways without increasing hematocrit, making it a prime target for studying tissue protection and its effect on red blood cells. This specificity is supported by published work on targeting the innate repair receptor in neuropathy .
